African Centre for Citizens Orientation

Africa Centre for Citizens Orientation (ACCO) (formerly, Youth Crime Watch of Nigeria), is an NGO in special consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social Council with a mission to build active citizens for a better and just society. ACCO is out to promote the good and welfare of African citizens, most especially women, young people including girls and persons with disabilities on the principles of freedom, equality and justice, and for the purpose of consolidating the unity and culture of our people.

Having successfully organized projects and activities for women groups, artisans, students, youth-led organizations and youths in schools and communities, in partnership with private and public institutions coupled with scholarship assistance given to its members and out-of-school youths, the United Nations granted to the organization, a special consultative status with Economic and Social Council in July 2010.
