Secure Africa is a bi-annual event where young people from various countries of the world, crime prevention practitioners, safety personnel including policymakers gathered to deliberate on issue around terrorism, violence, cybercrime, trafficking and drug use. Secure Africa has four cardinal objectives which include:
Learn, share and network
Learn, share and network with other stakeholders on ways to combat the growing incidents of violent crimes, radicalization of young people and Internet crimes on the continent.
Positive Youth Engagement
Engage and empower young Africans with necessary information and tools in bringing about cycle development (all-round development), competition, and innovation.
Safety and Security through Youth
Encourage young people to contribute to a safer and secure Africa continent in order to increase infrastructure development.
Collaboration with State and Non-State Actors
Collaborate with governments and like-minded individuals and corporation in implementing international, regional and national instruments and policies in addressing the growing issues of crime, unemployment and poverty in a coordinated and focused manner to deepen economy and local/foreign investment.
